About me

I offer a friendly and reliable dog walking service in the Peterborough area. You can find my 5/5 rated listing on Yell . I love your pets. I get on great with all my dogs who quickly recognise the purpose of my visits - fun! It's not just dogs I adore, it's animals in general. I'll never pass by a cat in the street without trying to make friends (unless I have a dog in tow of course!). And similarly, I'll stop to befriend pigs, cows and horses in fields (not sheep though - they never want to be friends). In fact I love animals so much, do you know the first attraction I went to at EuroDisney? The petting zoo! I'm currently daddy to three chickens, Patsy, Edina and Bubble, who are spoiled rotten in my back yard. I began dog walking after my 22-year career with John Lewis ended in redundancy. About the same time as I sadly left the job I loved, my brother and his family adopted a puppy. They needed someone to look in on her and walk her a fe...

GPS tracked walks

From the moment I collect your pooch until we're safely back home you'll be able to keep tabs on us on a map thanks to a GPS tracking app. You'll get a notification to say I've arrived for our walk, so you'll have peace of mind your doggo is getting the attention they deserve. Wherever our ensuing walk takes us, GPS tracking creates a live map of our route. Whether you watch our journey in real-time or not, you'll receive a map of the walk afterwards.  I'll also send a photo or two of us both enjoying our adventure. Regrettably not all dog walkers provide the service you pay them for. GPS tracking is just one of the guarantees that you're getting exactly what you are paying for. Whichever dog walker you choose to look after your beloved pet, and I do hope it's me, ask them to provide GPS tracking or you could be getting short changed.

How does it work?

I know your four-legged friend is a family member who means everything to you and that you'll be apprehensive about having someone else take care of them. First of all we'll arrange a 'meet and greet' at a time to suit you. It's often best if I come to you (so you can show me where I can find the lead and, of course, the treat box!), but if you'd like to meet in your local park or somewhere else entirely, that's great too. The meet and greet lets you, and more importantly your dog, meet me in person and ensure you are comfortable that we're compatible. I've not yet met a dog I can't win over! We'll discuss your pooch's requirements, walking habits and I'll answer any questions you might have. If you're happy to go ahead with the booking we'll discuss collection arrangements. Most of my clients give me a house key, but other options can be a padlocked key cupboard or collection of your dog from your garden or cons...
